Why Choose Us

OUR UNIQUE APPROACH

IStock 000009324006Medium
01

Community-Focused

We prioritise local community needs, tailoring our support service according to the requests of job seekers residing in
Greater Manchester areas most affected by unemployment

02

Personalised Support

All our beneficiaries receive customised support and CV-writing guidance, giving them the best possible opportunity of achieving positive employment outcomes.

03

Aim High

We appreciate that competition for vacant positions is fierce, meaning that job applicants need to ‘stand out’ during recruitment processes. Consequently, we ensure our beneficiaries are prepared to the highest possible standard, which then strengthens their confidence and motivation to pursue their dream job.

04

The Golden Rule

We treat all our beneficiaries in the manner we would want and expect to be treated. This helps us build positive working relationships, which allows for more effective collaboration during support sessions.

05

See the Potential

All our beneficiaries have the potential to develop into highly valued members of a workforce. However, this may seem difficult to achieve for some, especially if they have several barriers to employment. Our support sessions equip each individual to fully showcase their potential during recruitment processes, which enhances their employment prospects.

06

Encouraging

We always support our beneficiaries in a positive and enthusiastic manner, and in the most effective way available. Through encouragement and tailored direction, we help those working with us to make positive steps towards their desired job roles.

07

Holistic Approach

During our support sessions, it occasionally becomes clear that the individual involved may benefit from support in other areas of their life. Sometimes additional training needs may also be identified. Fortunately, we have connections with other highly skilled local support services who are well-placed to provide any additional support.

08

Create Opportunities

Many of our beneficiaries are highly skilled in various fields; however, these same people sometimes have limited skill in English writing and/or IT. Some can also have limited CV-writing ‘know-how’. If these people produced a CV on their own, it may not provide a clear picture of their knowledge and skills, and could fail to demonstrate their suitability for vacant job roles.
By working with Love What You Do, our beneficiaries can circumnavigate this situation and present themselves to employers in a manner that truly reflects their capabilities and strengths. This opens up greater employment opportunities and avoids an individual missing out on a position that they are fully equipped to carry out.
